So yeah I am working on some new paintings (well I am in advanced painting again this year so expect me to be a bit busy with that, as well as book arts) what I wanted to do with this journal entry is to ask for a bit of some help with ideas from you all before this weekend when I plan to try and complete my paint which after then it wouldn't help since I'll be done with it and all. I already go some help fro a good friend but I was curious as to what others would also say and like to share. So below I have just copied and pasted the comment I had typed to my friend via MSN messenger.


OK so this is a painting in watercolors i did last semester [link] , here is a detail of it, [link] anyway here is the current painting i am working on [link] , funny thing is i didn't plan on this when i made the current painting but look how they line up when next to each other [link] , [link] , what i would like help with is well general color palette, the first one is mostly cool colors, should i go mostly warm for this current one?

Also yes I know that is Edward Elric, let me explain this current painting is supposed to in a way represent our summer and how we spent it, I put Ed there since I had met Mignogna over the summer enough said. I didn't want to draw Vic and I'm pressed for time, please don't critique me or the painting I did last semester, that painting was already critiqued by my class and my professor individually. I just am looking for suggestions on the current paintings colors I should choose.
